Portugal has announced the 23-man squad which will be flying its colors at the Russia 2018 World Cup. Coach Fernando Santos who led the Portuguese to victory at the Euro 2016 tournament in France has named his team with Cristiano Ronaldo at the forefront of the squad.
Missing in the list is Ruben Neves and Rony Lopes of Monaco, while Nani is absent due to his struggles at Lazio. Also missing is Renato Sanches who was a key part of Portugal’s success in France two years ago.
