Earlier today, we reported that MTV shuga actress, Dorcas Fapson has gotten the Taxify driver whom she accused of trying to rape her arrested. She made this known via an Instagram post where she proclaimed herself a fighter and not a crier.
However, in a new twist, it is reported that the Taxify driver, Udeh Henry Nnaemeka, was seen walking free in Ikoyi after she made her post public. A video which has gone viral shows the driver all smiles as a background voice mockingly joked of how the claim by Dorcas Fapson is false. Going through the Instagram post Dorcas made, one can notice that she has blocked comments, unlike what it was like when she first made the post which got her positive responses.
Trouble started between the driver and the actress few weeks ago when Dorcas decided to board the guy’s vehicle. The following morning, she took to snapchat to narrate the horrible incident she faced in the hands of the Taxify driver whom she said drove her to an undisclosed location against her will. She claimed he even tried to drag her into a building to possibly rape her. Luckily for her, she had a pepper spray in her bag which she used to defend herself.
In a statement released by the driver, he claimed the actress boarded his vehicle and told him to drive without disclosing any particular location she wanted him to take her to. He obeyed her for a moment before asking again for her destination. According to the statement,
she got in my vehicle and just as I started the trip I noticed there wasn’t a destination for the trip so I politely asked her for the destination to know where I’m going to and if it will be convenient for me at that time of the night but she refused to tell me and instead asked me to drive out that she will tell me later, I politely refused and asked severally for the destination but she wouldn’t tell me rather she ordered me in a harsh tone to “Move this car”!
He said he felt threatened when she started making phone calls to some people he didn’t know, so he decided to ensure she exited the car. This led to her spraying the pepper spray on his eyes.
I had to struggle with her to get my car keys from her hands. It was in the process of struggling with her, she sprayed a chemical substance (pepper spray) in my eyes.
The following morning, he was surprised when he got several messages from people who told him that he has been accused of rape. This incident drew a huge debate on social media platforms as many said they do not believe Fapson’s story cos the video of the incident she shared didn’t show her as someone in much danger.
